Pia Nicolini, Ph.D., President
Pia Nicolini, Ph.D. is cofounder and President of B&N. Pia is a native of Chile with a doctoral degree in communications from the University of Iowa. She has over 20 years of research experience and has published articles on Hispanic use of media in the US, conducting international research, and conducting research in Latin America. Pia has also presented at pharmaceutical market research workshops and conferences on Global Research and Research in Latin America. She has personally led and conducted qualitative and quantitative market research in the US, Latin America, Europe, and Asia for the pharmaceutical industry.

Douglas E. Brintnall, Ph.D., Executive Vice President
Doug Brintnall, Ph.D. is cofounder and Executive Vice President of B&N. Doug began his career in anthropology, and has applied many of the techniques and theories of this discipline during his 25 years of research experience. He is the author of two books and has presented at pharmaceutical market research workshops and conferences. Recent presentation topics include Successful Pharmaceutical Branding, International Market Research Trends, Creative Approaches to Positioning, Innovative Methods in Market Research, and Achieving Global Positioning.

Marian Law Burns, Vice President, Finance and Administration 

Marian Burns joined B&N in 1999 as a member of the Executive Committee. She is responsible for all aspects of administration, including finance, human resources, and information technology. Prior to joining B&N, Marian's management experience was concentrated in legal administration. She worked for more than 15 years as Administrator of law firms in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Marian is past President of the Association of Legal Administrators, Independence Chapter. She has lectured and published numerous articles on financial and management issues, and has served as adjunct faculty at the Bucks County Community College. Marian is named in Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who in American Law.
